Greased lightening

Hello Utah, I’m back! And I can’t even tell you all how relieved I am to be done with this quarter. It has been the most stressful and crazy (but fun) quarter. It’s going to be sooo nice to not have any more deadlines and time consuming projects for the next month and half (yep- 6 whole weeks off *heart eyes*) and I’m going to have so much free time to be able to work on some of my own projects and make some fun winter clothes… I’ve only been back one day and I already spent all of my money on fabric from Jo-ann. Speaking of which, I got hired for a seasonal position there, and I started yesterday! I basically live there anyway so it shouldn’t be too hard of a transition hahahaha.

Anyway, for this post I just wanted to show you guys some of the stuff I created this quarter because a lot of people have been messaging me asking to see my sketches and see more pictures and process stuff from things that I have been made. So I thought this would be a good place to showcase my work from the quarter. Continue reading

Tobi or not to be

Happy Sunday, goobers! Life has been pretty good lately, I’ve been really loving my classes and having so much fun with my friends (and making lots of new ones!) and best of all, it’s finally, FINALLY cooling down a little bit here in Georgia. Continue reading

Gingham and Denim and Fruit, oh my!

Hey there beans 🙂 Welcome back to the blog! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted (okay only a week or two, but that’s a long time) But I’ve been up to some pretty cool stuff. I’ve been having so much fun just being HOME. As much as I miss Savannah and Florence, it’s been so so nice waking up in my own bed every morning, and being able to see my mom every day instead of just calling. I love love love traveling but I can promise that nowhere will ever have my heart quite as much as Spanish Fork, Utah! Continue reading

Georgia Dream

Heyo!! Welcome back to the blog for your daily dose of random rants, food talk, and fashion inspo. Today’s look is from a couple of days ago, and features these gorgeous embroidered pants from Anthropologie (where else?!) I can’t believe that this is one of the last blog posts that I will posting as a freshman in college, this year has gone by so so fast!! But at the same time it’s kind of dragging on, and I’m really ready to be done. But I also don’t want to leave. Mixed feelings. BUt yoU GUYS I leave for Florence in 21 days!!! I’m beyond excited, I can’t wait to spend a month studying fashion and art in Europe with my bestie. I literally can’t wait. We’re also making plans to go to Austria and possibly Switzerland while we’re over there, so get pumped for those blog posts because they’re going to be rad. Super rad. Honestly there’s Continue reading

Business is Blooming

Hey friends!  Welcome to SPRING! And welcome back to my blog, it’s been a while… I’ve been slacking! Quick life update before I get into the fashion stuff: I just got back from spring break, where I went on the funnest Disney cruise with my family to the Caribbean! I had the funnest time with them, and it definitely wasn’t long enough! Spring quarter started last week and I can’t believe that I’m almost done with my freshman year at college!! What the heck!! Time flies when you’re having fun, and drowning in stress. No but seriously, I love college. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but it’s also the best! If you had told me five years ago that I would be going to a college where my projects are things like making dresses out of scrap metal, constructing shoes entirely out of masking tape, and doing ink drawings of the most beautiful city ever…. I probably would have dropped out of Jr. High and headed straight for Savannah. In other news: I gave myself bangs. Word of advice: never give yourself bangs. I’m thinking about doing a whole blog post about how to hide bad bangs because honestly I’ve gotten pretty good at it! I’m hoping they’ll grow out sooner than later, however.

Okay enough about me, on to the good stuff. I’m sure you guys remember Olivia, I did a blog post with her in October, she is the owner of All Those Little Things blog, which you can check out HERE and you definitely should check it out, because she’s darling and deserves to be famous already. Anyway, she asked me if I wanted to do another collaboration and the answer was DUH! So we headed over to the most adorable Parisian cafe called Cafe M, and I think Liv is doing a Savannah Spotlight post all about them, so keep an eye out for that! And I promise we totally didn’t even mean to match, but our cute springtime colors matched so well so we went to the pink house to take some fun pics and then did a little shopping, because you can’t just walk by Urban Outfitters and not go in, ya feel? Speaking of shopping– I’ve talked a little bit about them before, but I wanted to remind you all to check out Sunday Brunch! They are the cutest clothing boutique based in California, and you can order everything online at Shop Sunday Brunch! These gorgeous white skinnies are from them, and they are so perfect for spring! AND they are under $50! Make sure to use the code “BRIANNEOLSEN20” when checking out and you will receive 20% off (ooh la la, you’re welcome) okey dokey, that’s all for today folks, outfit details for both me and Liv are down below! Thanks for reading, love you all!

XOXO
