Gingham Girl

Happy Sunday babes! It has been over a MONTH since I’ve posted on the blog, aka I’m the biggest slacker ever. I’ve been focusing a lot on smaller sponsored things and collaborations/giveaways on Instagram lately, but I really want to get back into posting more outfits and trends because that’s the whole reason I created this blog, and I’ve kinda been straying from that. Gingham and Denim and Fruit, oh my!

Hey there beans ๐Ÿ™‚ Welcome back to the blog! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted (okay only a week or two, but that’s a long time) But I’ve been up to some pretty cool stuff. I’ve been having so much fun just being HOME. As much as I miss Savannah and Florence, it’s been so so nice waking up in my own bed every morning, and being able to see my mom every day instead of just calling. I love love love traveling but I can promise that nowhere will ever have my heart quite as much as Spanish Fork, Utah! Continue reading

Hey hey hey! Long time, no blog! Honestly I’ve started like 7 blog posts recently and then immediately drafted them because they were trash. But I figured I needed to get over my self-loathing to post something for this momentous occasion (you don’t need to tell me I’m dramatic, I already know.) But yes, yesterday was my “blogiversary” which was my blog’s first birthday (yeahhhh I’m kinda ashamed that I’m that blogger that keeps track of things like that) but anyway, being the anniversary of my blog, I wanted to just say Continue reading

When in Venice

CIAO! Today’s blog post is another one from Italy (oohh shocker) but this time from one of my most favorite places I’ve been.. Venice!! You know when you see Venice on TV and in movies and it seems like this magical dream town where lovers float around on gondolas and everyone walks around eating gelato and everything is right in the world? Yup it’s pretty much just like that. I have always wanted to go to Venice because I was so fascinated with the fact that people drive boats around in the canals just like cars on the street, and it’s seriously as awesome as it sounds. Continue reading

Bri in Burano

Hello hello! I’ve been a little MIA on the blog lately, but I’ve been up to a lot so I thought I would share! So far I’ve had the opportunity to go to some super cool places during the past few weeks in Europe, ย and I’ve been taking a lot of fun pictures to share ๐Ÿ™‚ these photos are from the day I spent in Burano! Burano is the most picturesque island off of Venice, and I fell in LOVE with it. It’s a tiny beautiful little town full of fisherman and lace makers, and every single house is painted a different color and it was the cutest place I’ve ever been. You can walk the whole island in about 15 minutes, and yet somehow we managed to spend 3 hours there and miss the boat back. So I did what I always do in these sorts of situations. Continue reading

Boom Pitti Bloom

Ciao my friends! I’m still here in Florence, and I’m absolutely loving it! Fantastic shopping, gorgeous men, and incredible Italian food (although I would give my first born child for a Diet Coke and a burger right about now)- but seriously what’s not to love?! The fashion scene is especially incredible and it’s been so fun checking out everyone’s street style and taking blog pictures. This weekend was even more fun because it was the semi-annual Pitti Uomo Fashion Show! The Pitti Uomo is a menswear trade show with so many amazing events, fashion shows, and beautiful men of course *drool*. I never wanted to leave. Continue reading

Daily outfits- Florence!

Ciao from Florence!! If you didn’t know, I’m spending a month in this beautiful city to study art and fashion! It’s only been 3 days, but I am absolutely loving my experience. Basically I wake up, tour cool architecture for art history, go learn about fashion, go eat at a delicious Italian restaurant, go shopping, get gelato, go to sleep, wake up, repeat. So, it’s pretty safe to say that I’m going to love this summer. I’m learning a lot of Italian, meeting a lot of cool people, and figuring out some nifty things about Italy (especially the best restaurants and gelaterias) but everybody knows that Italy is home to some of the world’s best fashion, and it definitely has not disappointed. I was completely baffled by the amount of high end stores I passed on a single block. Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Hermes, Dolce, Celine, you name it. So shopping here is SUPER FUN, although not very productive because I can’t afford a single thing in any of those stores. But window shopping is (almost) just as fun. But speaking of fashion, I decided I want to blog about most, if not all, of my outfits in Florence.ย  Continue reading
