Bri in Burano

Hello hello! I’ve been a little MIA on the blog lately, but I’ve been up to a lot so I thought I would share! So far I’ve had the opportunity to go to some super cool places during the past few weeks in Europe,  and I’ve been taking a lot of fun pictures to share 🙂 these photos are from the day I spent in Burano! Burano is the most picturesque island off of Venice, and I fell in LOVE with it. It’s a tiny beautiful little town full of fisherman and lace makers, and every single house is painted a different color and it was the cutest place I’ve ever been. You can walk the whole island in about 15 minutes, and yet somehow we managed to spend 3 hours there and miss the boat back. So I did what I always do in these sorts of situations. I bought gelato and shopped. But anyway, its definitely an island worth checking out if you’re ever in the Venice area (and my Venice post will be up soon!)

my outfit for the day was an adorable romper from Freya, I pulled out the most colorful thing that I packed so that I could match with the cute bright little town. Freya is a really cool and unique store and you should def check it out at http://www.freyastores.com I paired it with my Steve Madden sandals… mostly because I forgot to bring the other shoes I was going to wear. But hey it works.

So far my Study abroad experience has been so amazing!! I would highly highly recommend doing a summer abroad in college because I feel like I have learned and grown so much by being in a different country for so long. And Europe is so super fun because every country is like a train ride away! (Switzerland post is also coming soon 😉 ) I’ll probably do a blog post at the end talking about my whole experience and posting a bunch of pics!! Whooo!

Alright I’m goin to bed because I’m pretty exhausted… from ya know.. eating too much gelato and watching the Hannah Montana movie twice in a row. You know how it goes.

Ciaoooo

xoxo
